Cider Maple Slow Cooker Meatballs

Our Thanksgiving was as usual non-traditional. We have a few appetizers and dessert. We play games, decorate for Christmas, watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade and relax.

We tried several new appetizers this year. One of the best was the Cider Maple Slow Cooker Meatballs. I used frozen 1/2 oz. meatballs but you could make homemade ones too. These were so simple and would be great for a party as they can stay in the slow cooker on low 4-8 hours.

Verdict:

These are on the sweet side but the vinegar helps cut it so it is not cloyingly sweet. They are best with a piece of apple and a meatball together to get all the flavors in one bite.

These would be perfect for a party appetizer or feeding a large group.
