Our community in Southwest Michigan has Give Back Nights at some restaurants where a portion of the sales (usually 10-20%) of the sales for the day are donated to a local not-for-profit. We don’t go out to eat for many of these because they are usually held on nights that we are away or near the end of the month when money is tight. Recently things were in alignment and we all were in town and it was pay-day.
Silver Beach Pizza is a local restaurant. They are not your typical pizza place in that if you are looking for a saucy, thick crust or a thin New York style this is not it. It is more a thin, crispy crust with plenty of toppings, a light sauce, and well browned cheese.
We ordered take-out since we weren’t eating until after 8:00 pm which is normal for us. A large delicious antipasto salad with lots of olives was our starter. Then we ordered two pizzas a Palladium (which is pictured above) which is a three cheese pizza and a Meat Mania (below) which is all the meats. Both had great flavor although I must say my favorite was the cheese pizza.
We had a yummy dinner and felt good about supporting a local organization. We will be ordering pizza again from Silver Beach Pizza.
And where is this place at???

Sometimes a well-made cheese pizza just hits the spot! The antipasta dish looks great, too.

It was yummy. Not too much lettuce and lots of “stuff” in it.
