“Wishes” to End and “Happily Ever After” to Begin

Disney World means a lot to our family. It is our “home” away from home. My children grew up watching the “Wishes” fireworks show in Magic Kingdom. I remember holding each one of them on our shoulders to see the fireworks and the castle.  Now they are as tall as I am (or taller!) and still love the whole show.

It will be tough to see a new show after 14 years. Both children are suddenly very nostalgic about it. But, we are thankful that we will be seeing it together one last time.

There is a sneak peek of the new music “Happily Ever After.”  Listening to it my daughter thought it sounded very happy and said, “Maybe a new show won’t be too bad.” My son, ever the traditionalist, said he didn’t think it will live up to “Wishes” but we will have to wait and see.

We do too! When my kids say they have been 15 times (we live 1250 miles away) people think we ate crazy. 🙂

  2. Last summer I hadn’t realized they had changed before the show started…I was not disappointed by the show, but instead just saddened to not have appreciated it more the time before we had visited!! Be sure to look me up if you get a free moment! 😉

  3. We have been to Euro Disney but not to the one in Orlando. Sounds wonderful so I think we will have to make a plan and visit.

We love it so and would love to visit Euro Disney some day. I need to get over my fear of flying first.
