Last Saturday I attended the US Bloggers Bash in Schaumburg, Illinois. It was only 90 miles away and I was excited to attend. I have followed the UK Blogger Bash for the past several years and I was hoping to meet new bloggers, get some ideas of how they blog, and maybe make a friend or two. I certainly did that.
Though there were only three of us in attendance I was so pleased to meet Erika Kind (click for link to her blog) and Sylvester (from Syl65 click for link to his blog). Over dinner we were able to chat about our blogs, how we blog, and all the other parts of our life outside our blogs. They were so very kind and patient with all my questions. I am very thankful to them for their insights into blogging and some new bloggers to follow and learn from.
I hope that if they give the US Blogger Bash a try again that some of you will try to attend. It was a wonderful evening and I was very fortunate to get to meet Erika and Sylvester. Just reading their blogs this week has stretched my mind and my thoughts on blogging.
