Yes, I am in the middle of making hors d’oeuvres for 150 people. I volunteered for this. What was I thinking? We are trying to do it inexpensively about $500 for everything including punch, sparkling juice, napkins, cups and trays. The venue is providing plates, tables, and flat ware. This means we are doing quite a bit of the work ourselves rather than getting everything pre-cut or expensive ingredients.
I plan on taking lots of pictures tonight and let you know how this all turned out. We are serving vegetable trays with dip, fruit platters, hummus with pretzel crisps, antipasti skewers with balsamic reduction, crackers, mixed nuts, cream puffs, eclairs, and sponsors are providing pizzas, cupcakes, and chips and salsa.
