How are Your New Year Goals Going? Determination!

So now that we are a three weeks into January how are those goals going? Have you totally abandoned them yet? Now is the time to adjust and make them something you can live with rather than far-reaching unrealistic expectations.

Writing your blog every single day? Increasing your presence on social media? Facebook? Twitter? or Instagram?

How about focusing on one area? Cannot exercise every single day? How about three days a week for the next month? Cannot cut out sugar, carbs, alcohol, and caffeine? How about tackling one for the next month?

No matter what your goals make it something practical you can realistically do and achieve. Baby steps for all of us!

My touchstone word – Determination is doing well for me. Our house is cleaner and getting organized better each day. I have a couple huge goals ahead of me but determination and not trying to do it all at once will get me through.

I don’t usually make many goals for the new year… I just hang on and enjoy the ride.

Your word is the key ingredient for every goal to achieve! Whether we practice every day or three days a week, we need to be determined to keep up however we approach it!

My biggest problem is that I set up too many goals – I get overwhelmed and stressed. Then I go back to my goals and prioritise – life is a big learning journey, isn’t it?
