I keep repeating the mantra “Only one more party. Only one more party.” The problem with this one is that it is at our house. So we are spending all our free time doing a deep clean. I mean taking everything out of every cupboard and drawer, washing the baseboards, scrubbing every corner of all the rooms, and washing windows. My kids think I am nuts.
But, by Friday we will be ready for 30 or so people at our house for Lebanese appetizers and drinks to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. This one is for some family and people in our town. Just a small party compared to the last party.
So, dinners are simple and when I am super over tired a pizza from Jet’s, a local pizza place. My kids like the crispy edges and cheesy crust. I like that the food is hot and ready when I get there 30 minutes after order. Makes us all happy.

Oh my gosh, I can relate! I am getting ready for a birthday party at my house and have been knocking items off the deep clean list – Today I think I am going to repaint the baseboards that have chipped! Maybe a bit too much, but I understand your feeling and agree – sometimes you just gotta order out. Pizza looks great!

Haha, my neurosis. We had a friend’s child come over once and lift up every area rug in the house looking for change.

Well the pizza looks good and I would have ordered it too if I were getting ready for a party. I hate how home parties you always have to clean up before and then clean up after. I hope it goes well!
