School started the last two days in most areas of Michigan and New York. I am watching my friends post back-to-school pictures and hoping everyone has a great day.
I forget how tired we all are during the first week of school. I had planned on these big fancy dinners to celebrate and when the time came to make dinner I just didn’t have the energy. Now is when we really need these simple meals for the first few weeks of back-to-school.
Verdict:
This was such a simple dinner to make that it made me very happy. The kids happily ate it and we all sat around the table and talked. It was wonderful! I added buttered egg noodles with garlic and some brown beans to complete the meal. This is a recipe that is going back in our rotation.
A simple meal for nights when a quick meal is needed. Ingredients: Directions:Honey Garlic Pork Chops
So Yummy , I like it.

I bet that is nice as the sauce sounds very much like my ‘BBQ sauce’ which I pour over chicken legs and cook in the oven, while vegetables ( peppers, big mushrooms, courgettes etc ) roast in olive oil and garlic on the other shelf.

I agree, the first week of school is exhausting, especially with the heat we’ve been having. Easy is the way to go!
