Where Have I Been?

Things have been super busy lately so I have been away from my blog for a week or so. I hope to be back up and writing all about our vacation next week or the week after.  We have all been super busy with the end of school and now that it is over I feel like I can breathe!

My daughter has been busy with Irish dance. Her recital was last weekend and next weekend is Irish Fest in Kalamazoo. This is her classes dance. She slips in the beginning but thankfully her hip held.

My son’s cello recital was also this past weekend. He did a VERY good job. His teacher is playing with him. Last year he wouldn’t even let me show his video but this year he was okay with it.  Baby steps forward!

Then I chaired a dinner and party fundraiser for 125 people. We made our first fundraising goal. We have much further to go but succeeding on the first step felt good.

I hope you are all winding down the school year and enjoying  your time with those you love. I will be back with more Disney pictures than you will ever care to see soon!

  1. Very cool.

And I’ve never seen Irish dancing done to non-Irish music.

Thank you! More modern Irish dance is using pop music and (gasp) their arms!

  2. I am glad your kids are doing so well, Marci. The video is fabulous. My sons also play instruments so I know how much effort is involved to play like this.
