Yes, this is it pasta, doctored sauce and fresh Parmesan cheese. I don’t use jarred sauce very often but I try to keep at least 1-2 jars on hand for emergencies. Even then I add my own spices or freshly grated cheese to the sauce. Jarred sauce is usually VERY sweet so depending on the taste we sometimes add extra basil, garlic powder (or freshly pressed garlic), onions, or a handful of freshly grated Parmesan. Be creative! Add your touches to your meals.
I just discovered adding cream to marinara…even jarred marinara. Omg. So good.
