I will admit that this Christmas season has been tough for us. I don’t know if it is the state of the US government, the place we are in our lives, or just life in general but we struggled this year with the Christmas spirit. Normally my house is decorated by November 15th and I love the entire season of baking, sharing, and general merriment. This year we have a tree with lights on it (because we left it up all year only taking the ornaments off) and a snowman on the piano. We didn’t even bake cookies this year.
So, I am hoping that these days bring the peace that we seek to our hearts and minds. May you find yourself surrounded by those you love and sharing a meal or snack that feeds your soul. Know that you are being thought of with warmth and goodness for a Merry Christmas.
