Day 56 – Two months. Eight weeks. Wow! I never thought it would be like this.

For Mother’s Day tomorrow I have asked for a day of family cleaning without complaints from anyone. They are usually pretty good about cleaning but I want a whole day of wiping baseboards, scrubbing the kitchen floors and cupboards, and cleaning the basement without a single eye roll or sigh. I have asked for this for the past three years after I asked them to clean on Mother’s Day one year and ended up leaving the house upset because they were all so nasty to each other and complaining so much. One day is all I ask for.

I also get to choose the meal and dessert. I am thinking almond cake for dessert and I am still not sure about the dinner. I am thinking something grilled, I love everything grilled over the summer. Maybe a pizza or seafood. Hmmm.
