Tonight’s dinner was a simple grilled cheese sandwich made with cheddar, Swiss and mozzarella cheese.
I am teaching my daughter how to make the perfect grilled cheese sandwich. It should be cooked slowly over med. low heat so that it gets a crispy toasted texture on the outside but the cheese melts completely on the inside. It should take about 20 minutes to cook the perfect grilled cheese.
As you can see in the above picture the cheese is melted but the bread is not quite brown and toasty. This is our work in process.
