My family loves the flavors of spinach, feta and garlic so I came up with my version of a “Greek” cheeseburger. They love these and it makes me feel good that I am serving them spinach they will eat.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2/3 cup of feta cheese
- 1 box of frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 3 TBSP. dried onion
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix to just well combined.
- Form into 8 patty portions.
- Fry over medium heat to cooked through only turning once if possible.
