The other day I took a quick look at my stats and thought, “That can not possibly be correct!” My page views were 500% higher than normal. I looked a little deeper and saw that most of it was attributed to one post “Greek Totchos with Homemade Tzatziki.“(click for link to post) I wrote this recipe back in January as a product review. It never went anywhere until this week.
After digging backwards through my stats I found out Ore-Ida shared my recipe on their Facebook page with a link to my blog. Almost 5,000 likes and 500 shares on Facebook. I don’t really care about stats so much but I do have personal goals for my blog and this just blew all of what I thought possible away.
I know this is kind of like getting struck by lightning or hitting the lottery, not likely to happen again, but it sure is great when it happens.

Nothing of mine has gone viral, but I did have Bobby Deen like a couple of my Instagram posts. I also had Phil Rosenthal like one of my tweets about his show. Both of those things were pretty thrilling!
