Our family is away for the weekend. My son is participating in the State competition for Science Olympiad at Michigan State University. He is competing in Rocks and Minerals, Optics, Fast Facts, and Microbes. It will be a crazy busy day but it will be a fun weekend. It is also his birthday weekend so we will celebrate with cake and ice cream with his team. One of his team mates has the same birthday as him so we always celebrate together this weekend. It is kind of fun to have these little traditions over the past four years.
Every weekend from now until Mid-July we have something going on. I cannot wait for all the fun ahead of us.
My daughter’s cap and gown arrived today for graduation. I am trying to slow down the time and truly enjoy the next two months. Let the fun begin!

Happy birthday to both birthday boys. I always love having cake and ice cream. My son graduates this May too but we are still waiting to see what happens with all that since our public school teachers are on strike right now, although they are calling it a walk out. So far schools have been closed since thursday last week.

Wow! In NYS it was illegal for teachers to strike. I can see both patents and teachers sides that is tough. Thank you for the birthday wishes.
