Last night’s dinner was to be Chicken Tetrazinni. As you can see this is NOT Chicken Tetrazinni. I had all the ingredients for Chicken Tetrazinni. In fact we had gone to the store to buy the whole milk, cream, and Parmesan cheese to make the Chicken Tetrazinni. But, I did not want it. Yes, I did not want it. I have been craving pancakes since last Friday. I had a ton of stuff to do all day and I wanted warm and comforting food, which Chicken Tetrazinni. I wanted butter, syrup, and warm pancakes.
We all have these nights when our meal plans go awry. It’s okay. I now have frozen chicken and the ingredients to make the dish another day.
Verdict:
This satisfied my craving. Lots of warm real maple syrup and butter were just what I wanted.

These are my go to Saturday morning breakfast. They just define weekend for me.

It helps, it lets my husband and I relax with our coffee and breaks up the mundane cereal or toast we quickly make throughout the week.
