Papa Murphy’s All Meat Pizza

Note:  I received NOTHING from Papa Murphy’s for this post. I purchased my pizza myself with my coupon(!) from our Superbook.  This is my opinion and I have not in any way compensated by anyone.

I surrendered tonight.  I try to cook dinner at least 6 if not 7 nights a week for my family.  I feel guilty when we go out.  I hate drive-thrus and bagged meals from fast food restaurants.  So out of necessity I created “To-Go” meals for my family to eat in the car.  Unless it is for a special occasion I really prefer to cook dinner.  But, meetings and life have finally taken over. I even had the chicken breasts for Sweet and Sour Chicken thawing in the refrigerator.  But, even that seemed too difficult to make this evening.

So, what I am going to give my family?  I chose Papa Murphy’s Pizza.  This just came to our area about a year ago.  I had never heard of it before that.  You get a pizza, unbaked, made to order right in front of you.  I love it!  You take it home and bake it at 425 degrees for 10-19 minutes and you have hot, fresh pizza ready to serve.

I love them for my kids parties because I can pick them up the morning of the party or even the day before and bake the pizza just before we are ready to serve it.  I don’t have to wait for a pizza delivery person to show up at my door or send someone out to pick the pizza up from a restaurant.  It is great.

Papa Murphy’s Pepperoni Classic

Verdict:

For $15 we got a Family sized All Meat Pizza and a free (got to love those coupons) family sized Pepperoni Classic Pizza.  I wish I could show you how LARGE these pizza really are and how heavy they are with toppings.  The Family Sized Pepperoni had 80 pepperoni slices on it! Yes, I asked the pizza maker.

We had enough pizza for dinner last night and lunches for everyone today.   My kids were thrilled because it is not often we have pizza and it is one  of their favorites because we can make sure it is made exactly as we want it.  There are no worries about them forgetting no onions on half or extra mushrooms because they make it right in front of you.

I love Papa Murphy’s for busy nights and they make me feel okay about getting take-out once in a while for my family.
