Eating Meals Out

So, I am on a break from cooking right now.  We are eating every meal out.  In some ways this is a dream and in another way it is a bit of a nightmare.  I love food.  Good food.  We are in Walt Disney World and each meal so far has been wonderfully prepared.  But, it is so much good, rich, food.

We have now been eating out for one week and I am getting to the saturation point.  I had a glass of milk with dinner last night because I am tired of soda. I am drinking lots of water but have soda and water with meals.   My acid level is off the charts.  I am eating lots of Tums.

I can’t wait to go home and try to make some of the wonderful dishes we have had, just not all at once!

Does anyone else get tired of eating out?

That is why I started my cooking blog. Too much eating out… to many disappointing meals….and too much money and calories. The blog gives me an incentive to try new recipes and I get to meet a lot of wonderful bloggers like you. 🙂

Thank you! I think I have also gotten used to making things my way. I like how I make them. 🙂

  2. I do because I feel like you never get a well balanced meal but I don’t miss doing the dishes!

Lol. Right there with you. Even with the dishwasher (which my children load after dinner) there are those stray pans and glasses that can’t go in the dishwasher.

the best part about eating out is no mess to clean up, no thought as to what to prepare etc, but eating out can get a bit repetitious after a while. I especially found that at “all inclusive” holidays…
