What Is Your “I Can’t Believe You Eat that Food?”

vienna-sausages

I was in the grocery store today and saw these and HAD to buy them. Yes, I admit it I love Vienna Sausages. The rest of my family thinks they are disgusting. Yet, they each like Spam, Necco Wafers (remember those icky candies) and those blue shark gummies.

Everyone has that one food that everyone around you can’t believe you really eat. What is yours? Is it those bright orange circus peanuts? Or maybe the Deviled Ham in a can? Tell us what is your food that most people cannot believe you would eat?

That is great! I don’t even think I really tried them when my kids were babies though I do like canned peaches.

  2. I am not afraid to admit I like Vienna Sausages! We ate them camping all the time when I was a kid. But I bet I haven’t had one in well over 20 years. Two things I do eat as an indulgence here and again are Funyuns and Chicaronnes (fried pork rinds). 🙂

I haven’t had Funyuns in probably 10-15 years. I’ve never had pork rinds. I may just have to give them a try.

I used to eat those like crazy! Funny though, my son and I both have an almost obsession with putting A-1 sauce on most everything- steak, chicken, rice, potatoes(in any form), veggies.

OMG, I LOVE those things! I grew up eating them for lunch with cottage cheese. I bought them for my boys when they were little, but really … they were for me. The boys hate them now; you can still sometimes find me scarfing them down at night over the kitchen sink!

      2. Duck hearts? The only place I’ve found them is an Israeli restaurant I’m Philadelphia called Zahav. But they taste just like duck breast for the most part. Not gamy at all.

Not something I’ve had before. Someone else said heart tasted a bit like liver. Hmmm, I guess I should try it if ever given a chance.

GREEN BEANS!!!!!! The scourge of the very existence of the entire planet! I can’t stand them, the smell, taste everything about them!!!! It is my kryptonite, my Achilles heel, my literally death of the world in my food experiences. Want me to leave your house? Open a can of that filth! I am being nice by not saying and using the expletive words I want to here out of respect but find the worst word that just sends the epitome of filth in your mind and THAT is what i think about canned green beans or any green beans really but the canned ones especially!

I do like a hot dog or corn dog from time to time. I hate when people say, “Do you KNOW what’s in those?” I’m like, “Yeah. I do. Now shut up and quit being rude while I’m trying to eat.”
