Back to the recipes I remember when we were kids. Now, my mom would NEVER make anything like this. She wouldn’t use canned soup, canned rolls, or bottled ranch dressing in anything. She was a home cook in the truest sense. She made 5-7 loaves of bread every Saturday morning so we would have bread for the week – no bagged store bought bread in our house. Dinners were made to order for each person, every night.
But, I remember thinking that my friends that ate like this were so lucky. To me this was gourmet food at its finest. Little did I know….
Verdict: My family loves the little wrapped dumpling like pods. You can change the dressing to Italian if you like rather than ranch it is entirely up to you. This is a great meal for busy weeknights especially if you leave the bacon out or have some cooked ahead of time. It takes no time to put together. Dinner can be on the table in under 40 minutes with a salad and a side vegetable.
Tip: I double this recipe for leftover lunches or a second night of meals.
Ingredients: Directions:1970s Loaded Chicken Roll-Ups
Maybe that’s why I find this meal so comforting. 👏🍂😍

Since I am very much into plants and healthy eating, I am cooking as much as possible without ready-to-use products. I just see what their ingredients do with the body and its metabolism. But some things still find their ways into my kitchen… lol

this sounds really good, but we’d never get stuff like this in Ireland, I mean the recipe, we get all of the ingredients, but this kinda recipe is something I’ve never had as a kid or adult!
