I love soup! Add a crusty loaf of bread and a simple green side salad and you have a delicious meal. So, simple to make too. Most of these soups can be made in the slow cooker, my preferred way of making soups, or on the stove top.
Lasagna Soup (click for link to recipe)

This is one of my favorite soups to make. It is filling and has lots of pieces for my family who like to “chew” their soup. Yes, they want chunks in their soup or they don’t consider it a meal. This has all the flavor of lasagna and plenty of the cheese but without all the layering. Now I am thinking I want this for dinner tonight!
Slow Cooker Tomato Basil Soup (click for link to recipe)

A smooth creamy bisque like soup that again has lots of flavor. This is a great soup for dipping garlic bread into or add a few garlic toast croutons right on top if you have family that needs texture in their soups.
Slow Cooker Potato, Ham, and Cheese Soup (click for link to recipe)

I love this soup because it is so simple to make and a great use of leftover ham. My family likes it because it has a great cheesy taste and lots of potato chunks to chew.
Sausage Meatballs and Orzo Soup (click for link to recipe)

Sausage meatballs? Yes! These meatballs add tons of flavor to the dish and it is a great flavorful dish. You can add more or less spice to your liking and don’t like spinach? Leave it out. Add more tomatoes if you want it is all up to you!
Roasted Turkey Soup (click for link to recipe)

We love roasted turkey soup. Add an extra layer of flavor by roasting the bones before boiling them down to make the stock. YUM! Such a simple soup but can be so flavorful.
Slow Cooker Zuppa Toscana (click for link to recipe)

This Zuppa Toscana can be a thin soup or a thick stew. It is up to you. My family prefers it as a stew but do what works best for your family. Spinach, Italian sausage, and potatoes make a hearty yummy dish!
Which soup are you going to try?
I can’t make up my mind! 🤔🌿😋
