French Bread Pizza

Since we were not eating dinner with the children tonight I made French Bread Pizzas for them.  Quick, easy and it makes them happy.

All I did was slice a loaf of French bread into quarters.  I make my own pizza sauce with a large can of crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, minced garlic, parsley and olive oil to taste.  I never measure anything when making my sauce.  I decide it all by taste.  Then layer it over the bread.

A layer of pepperoni on top of the sauce, and a generous dollop of cheese.  A few slices of pepperoni on top to let the children know that there really is pepperoni in it and an additional sprinkle of parsley over the whole dish.  Bake at 350 until crunch and crisp.  It was all gone when we returned home so I think it was a hit.
