Eat dessert first. Not a concept that I follow but sometimes I love to mix things up with the kids. So, we had dessert for dinner. Funfetti waffles were super easy and the kids thought they were fun.
Verdict:
This recipe makes about six waffles so if you are making them for a teen sleepover or breakfast definitely double the recipe. Â I think all six waffles were gone just as soon as they came out of the warming oven. I had mine with butter and maple syrup but I let the kids put whipped cream and sprinkles over theirs. These would also be good with berries, ice cream and ice cream toppings too.
Serve with a side of fruit salad if it makes you feel better about dessert for dinner. 🙂
Ingredients; Directions: Tip: If making for a large group or party you can make the waffles the day before and allow them to cool completely before putting them in storage bags in the refrigerator. Reheat them the next day in a 350 degree oven for 8-12 minutes until they are hot.Funfetti Waffles

Thank you! Combine it with the waffle bar idea and that would be awesome! If you want you can make them the day before and put them in the refrigerator in zip loc bags once they are cooled. Just pull them out and heat on a cookie sheet in the oven for about 12-15 minutes. Saves having to make them with all the kids around. Have fun!
