I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and have lots of great leftovers for today! I repost this dish every year the day after Thanksiving as it is our favorite leftover dish, next to turkey soup!

    As immigrants ( in the 90’s ) , we did everything the American way, including having turkey on Thanksgiving Day. But then, each one of us would only eat a small slice of the turkey, the leftover was always thrown away 3 days after. We had turkey 4 years in a row….after that, we gave up. Now, we have ham instead, always marinated in brown sugar and pineapple juice, and nothing is left after 3 days. Leftover ham is used for ham sandwich, fried rice, and soups. ( especially the ham bone. )

      Love ham! That is our Easter go to. Ham Croquettes, ham and scalloped potatoes! Yummy! Great to do what your family loves.

    I live in Pakistan and I don’t know what this Thanksgiving is all about except the fact there is a holiday in US. But still I loved your posts. Amazing recipes👌

      Thank you! I think if you asked most people in the US they would not know the answer to what is Thanksgiving other than to eat a lot of food and to be great full for what life has bestowed upon us.

        And any celebration without FOOD is Impossible😀😊😊
