Big Mac Casserole

First off, my family thought I was crazy when I proposed this casserole. I grew up with the jingle:

“Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun.”

It is an earworm that strikes every once in a while so my kids also know the 80s jingle. When I told them we were putting that all into a casserole, sort of, they cringed but as usual agreed to it.

Verdict: So, there is no sesame seed bun in this recipe but there are Tater Tots and everything is better with Tater Tots. I sprinkled the onion over top of our dish because my daughter hates onions and I like mine raw. This works best for us.

I served this dish with green beans and a green salad to complete the meal.
