National Root Beer Float Day – August 6th

Root Beer Float

Today is National Root Beer Float Day! My family happily agreed to be testers for the root beer floats. We stopped and bought ice cream and root beer. We stuck the root beer in the freezer for a few minutes so it would be good and cold.

Are you going to celebrate with a Root Beer Float?

If you are so inclined tomorrow is National IPA Day, National Raspberries ‘n Cream Day or International Beer Day. Just letting you know!

  1. Miam, miam! I haven’t had a Root beer float in eons! A&W Root beer had the best when I was a girl. Served in ice cold mugs with little bits of ice in the root beer. Umm-umm-good!

All things happening this week-end sound delicious!

I am not a fan of root beer – when I was younger I would have Dr. Pepper floats. That was a long time ago – I may to try one again soon. Happy Day my friend! 🙂

Thanks. Funny enough I don’t like root beer either so I ate the ice cream. 🙂
