Today is National Root Beer Float Day! My family happily agreed to be testers for the root beer floats. We stopped and bought ice cream and root beer. We stuck the root beer in the freezer for a few minutes so it would be good and cold.

Miam, miam! I haven’t had a Root beer float in eons! A&W Root beer had the best when I was a girl. Served in ice cold mugs with little bits of ice in the root beer. Umm-umm-good!

I am not a fan of root beer – when I was younger I would have Dr. Pepper floats. That was a long time ago – I may to try one again soon. Happy Day my friend! 🙂
