6 Recipes Using Thanksgiving Leftovers

I love Thanksgiving food but I love what we make with Thanksgiving leftovers even more! Secret? I don’t like hot turkey on Thanksgiving. So, I eat lots of sides and making them into delicious casseroles, soups, and more. That is my idea of fun.

Trisha Yearwood’s Creamy Turkey Casserole (click for link to recipe)

This casserole uses almost all your leftovers! It creates a delicious creamy casserole that my family loves. I know adding the mayo and cranberry sauce sounds funny but it is great.

Leftover Turkey Hash (click for link to recipe)

This looks pretty awful but let me tell you over garlic mashed potatoes it was amazing! Have leftover potatoes and want garlic mashed? Warm your potatoes and add a bit of cream or butter with some powdered garlic to taste to get some quick and easy garlic mashed potatoes.

Mashed Potato Casserole with Crispy Chicken (click for link to recipe)

Use your leftover mashed potatoes, corn, and gravy to make a delicious bowl. Have extra turkey? Use turkey instead of frozen chicken to make a delicious variation on this bowl.

Roasted Turkey Soup (click for link to recipe)

We love turkey soup. Cook the bones in the slow cooker or a large stock pot on the stove top to get the best flavor. YUM!

Turkey Tetrazzini (no canned soups) – (click for link to recipe)

I really like Turkey Tetrazzini. My mother used to make this when we were kids after every holiday we had turkey. She made it without canned soups even though most recipes now a days use cream soups in them. Both are good but I still prefer the no canned soup dish.

Thanksgiving Sliders (click for link to recipe)

A perfect little Thanksgiving bite in a slider? Yes, please. Use your leftover stuffing, cranberry sauce, and turkey to make the perfect little bites. Delicious!
