Cake Mix Donuts

I was craving something sweet the other day when I remembered we had all sorts of cake mixes in the pantry. I had bought them awhile back not knowing when we would get to the grocery store again when our area went back to limiting going out to only necessary. I don’t like to go into stores, restaurants, etc… right now so I try to shop only once a month or so. But, these were perfect to make a small batch of cake donuts for my family.

Verdict: The best part of these donuts, other than they are super easy to make, is that you can make them in so many combinations of flavors. Have a spice cake mix? Make cider glaze or cream cheese frosting from a can (gasp). Have a cherry chip cake mix (like we did) and a can of vanilla frosting with rainbow chips? You have a colorful treat!
