5 Bar Foods to Make at Home

Some nights we just crave bar food, You know those loaded fries, onion rings, Buffalo wings, etc…. These are a few of our favorite bar foods to make at home plus a delicious dessert to end the night!

Greek Totchos (click for link to recipe)

I have been thinking about this recipe all weekend. We made steak and suddenly I was thinking about this dish. Once I mentioned this the kids were asking for this again. It is so flavorful and is great if you have leftover steak as it takes only as long as the potatoes cook!

Air Fryer Chicken Wings (click for link to recipe)

Air fryer wings are a favorite of ours. The Buffalo sauce is delicious and we make these a couple times a year for football parties, a snacky dinner, or just because!

Irish Fries (click for link to recipe)

Have some leftover Corned Beef? Irish fries are a great way to use up a hunk of Corned Beef. add some caramelized onions, Thousand Island dressing, and Swiss cheese and you have a yummy take on loaded fries.

Canadian Poutine (click for link to recipe)

You can tell by now we love our potatoes! Canadian Poutine sounds strange but melted cheese and gravy? Super YUMMM! Fresh cheese curd that squeaks when you bite into it is the best but you can usually find cheese curd in the specialty cheese section of most grocery stores.

Roast Beef Sliders (click for link to recipe)

My whole family loves these little slider sandwiches. They are so versatile that you can put different toppings on the sandwiches as your family would like. These are my favorite with crispy onions and cheese. YUM!

Hawaiian Luau Sundae (click for link to recipe)

These sundaes are so good and a perfect summer night sundae. We made banana bread earlier in the day and then grilled pineapple rings to add to the top of the sundae. A scoop of vanilla ice cream and a buttery caramel sauce over the top makes an amazing dish!

Are Irish fries a real thing in bars? Perhaps it’s the Canadian poutine syndrome that I have never heard of them but that is amazing combo I will have to try it!

Some times especially around St. Patrick’s Day when Corned Beef is more popular. We also have a German version with beer cheese and brats at a local bar.
