Top 5 Recipes for September 2020

At the end of every month I take a look back at the previous month to see which recipes have the most likes and views for the previous month. Here are five from September:

Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Apples (click for link to recipe)

I recently remade favorite on my blog. We still love the flavors but it is interesting to see my children’s taste change over time. They used to love this recipe because it wasn’t heavy on the sauerkraut flavor but now they like to add a splash of vinegar to their bowls to bring out that flavor. Remember to dress it as your family likes it!

Ground Beef Enchilada Verde (click for link to recipe)

Another simple dish that is at or near the top of recipes for each month. Ground beef and canned green enchilada sauce brings this meal together in no time!

Orange Cake with Orange Glaze (click for link to recipe)

This cake has a strong orange flavor but is not overly sweet. It makes a perfect addition to a brunch or weekend meal that you want a lighter treat for.

Brookies (click for link to recipe)

Brookies (a mix of brownies and chocolate chip cookies) is super easy to make using a brownie mix. This is always a hit at bake sales for the school!

Spare Rib Casserole (click for link to recipe)

This is one of my most favorite recipes. I try to make extra barbecue ribs so that we can have this casserole. The cheese, barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes, and rib meat is yummy!
