5 Breads for Brunch

Old Fashioned Banana Bread (click for link to recipe)

From the 1972 Betty Crocker cookbook this recipe reminds me of growing up and learning to cook on my own. This bread is lighter in banana flavor but super simple to make. This freezes beautifully and can be made ahead to thaw and warm for a delicious breakfast.

Caramel Pecan Monkey Bread (click for link to recipe)

This recipe is a bit more time intensive than my other favorite recipes but to my family this is well worth the wait! The cream cheese stuffed bits of biscuit are yummy and the butter and sugar topping make a nice glaze over the top. This will go quickly for brunch.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread (click for link to recipe)

My family sometimes refers to this as loaded Pumpkin Bread. The cream cheese and chocolate chips make it special to them. It is super easy to make and everyone thinks it is so special.

Zucchini Bread (click for link to recipe)

This was the year of zucchini in our house. We had an abundant crop so we made zucchini bread to freeze and make into French toast (yum!) and to have for a quick bite on busy mornings.

Amish Friendship Bread (click for link to recipe)

This bread is sweet and tasty! No starter needed Amish bread is like a cinnamon sugar topped coffee cake in bread form. A nice sweet addition to any brunch.
