Top 5 Recipes on “What’s for Dinner Moms?” – April 2021

It’s interesting to see each month what are the top recipes each month. There is a brand new one that was the topped searched recipe on my log the “Jimmy Dean Crustless Quiche.” The other 4 were repeats from past months with a new order. The “Slow Cooker Pork Chops and Sauerkraut” is going on 17 months in the top 5!

This “quiche” which is not an eggy custard quiche but rather an eggy biscuit like quiche is simple to make and a great dinner or brunch dish.

Ground Beef Enchilada Verde (click for link to recipe)

A simple dish with ground beef and canned enchilada verde (green sauce) is a delicious change from the traditional enchilada sauce (red). It is lighter and tangier in flavor than the traditional sauce and my kids prefer it to the red sauce.

Easy to put together and simple to amp up the flavor with additional vinegar my family asks for this meal at least once or twice during the fall and winter. It can be served any time but to me it is a nice Oktoberfest dish. For my family to ask for a meal more than once a year means it is a HUGE hit.

Orange Cake with Orange Glaze (click for link to recipe)

This delicious orange cake is made with orange juice and orange zest. It is not sweet like most cakes but rather lightly sweet. This is one of my favorite cakes in that it isn’t so sweet.

Shrimp Scampi Ravioli (click for link to recipe)

This is my go to dish for a restaurant style meal at home. The white wine sauce over frozen ravioli makes this a super quick dinner that looks and tastes like a meal you may get from a restaurant. This is a great dish for company too!

I wonder what will be the top recipes for May?
